Job summary

Independent Living Specialists (ILS) is seeking a Casual Showroom Assistant at our Rockhampton site. You will be the face of the ILS brand, delivering exceptional customer service, handling inquiries, and promoting the full range of physiotherapy items, mobility chairs, and home care products.

You will balance transactions, manage deliveries, and actively pursue new clients while maintaining strong product knowledge and professional presentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience in meeting KPI's, budgets and sales targets.
• Excellent customer service etiquette, both over the phone and in person.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the store and balancing transactions.
• Preparing reports and reviewing sales data, open orders and open quotes.
• Follow up on scheduled deliveries for that day.
• Actively seeking new clients, contracts and marketing opportunities to meet targets.
• Engaging customers and conveying the range of services offered by ILS.
• Respond to emails and liaise with customers by phone to fulfill requests.
• Assisting with administration and providing product information.
• Processing quotes, orders and hire contracts efficiently.
• Being the face of ILS in the local community and building relationships.
• Following WHS requirements at showroom level.

Your "New" Day to Day:

Opening and closing the store and balancing transactions

Preparing reports and review sales data, open orders and open quotes

Follow up on scheduled deliveries for that day

Actively seeking new clients, contracts and marketing opportunities to ensure your targets are achieved or exceeded

Engaging incoming customers, assisting them with their questions and being able to convey the range of services that are available from the ILS Group.

Respond to email inquiries and liaise with customers over the phone to fulfill requests.

Assisting with the administration

Providinginformation to customers about our products from physiotherapy items to mobility scooters, recliner lift chairs through to our range of home care beds, home oxygen therapy and more…

Processing quotes, orders and hire contracts efficiently

Being the face of ILS in the local community and driving relationships with customers and other local businesses

Following and managing all WHS requirements at a showroom level.

About You:

You will have proficiency in Microsoft programs (Excel, Work, Outlook)

You will have experience in meeting KPI's, budgets and sales targets

You will have excellent over the phone and face to face customer service etiquette.

You may have SAP experience, which ispreferable to have.
