Job summary

Independent Living Specialists is seeking a proactive Casual Showroom Assistant for our Box Hill showroom in Melbourne. The role is approximately 15-25 hours per week with no weekend work, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoys helping customers find mobility and home care solutions.

You will engage customers, answer questions, provide product information across a range of assistive technologies, and handle quotes and orders with strong administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with incoming customers and explain range of services.
• Respond to emails and liaise with customers by phone to fulfill requests.
• Provide information on products from physiotherapy items to mobility aids and home care equipment.
• Process quotes, orders and hire contracts efficiently.
• Follow WHS requirements at showroom level.

Independent Living Specialists is a fast-growing business in the rapidly expanding Health Care industry.

ILS has evolved over the last 18 years to be the largest retailer of Assistive Technology equipment in Australia. We have 60 showrooms and over 800+ team members located in the ACT, NSW, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia, and are continuing to expand our footprint.

A unique opportunity exists for a driven Casual Showroom Assistant at our Box Hill Showroom.

Your positive and persistent approach to customer service and community engagement will see your success in this location. We are looking for a motivated, self-starter with the will to succeed, who is not afraid to pro-actively build relationships and drive sales. Initially, this would be for approximately 15-25 hours per week, with no weekend work required.

Responsibilities:

• Engaging incoming customers, assisting them with their questions and being able to convey the range of services that are available
• Respond to email enquiries and liaise with customers over the phone to fulfill requests.
• Providinginformation to customers about our products from physiotherapy items to mobility scooters, recliner lift chairs through to our range of home care beds, home oxygen therapy and more…
• Processing quotes, orders and hire contracts efficiently.
• Following all WHS requirements at a showroom level.
