Job summary

Independent Living Specialists (ILS) is a leading healthcare equipment provider in Australia. We are recruiting a Casual Retail Assistant for our Maroochydore store to work approximately 15-20 hours per week, including Saturdays, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and sales support.

Ideal candidates bring a retail background and a customer-centric mindset, are well presented and ready to engage with the local community, and may have exposure to Allied Health fields.

Qualifications

• Retail background and customer service experience.
• Interest in Allied Health fields such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy or Nursing.
• Willingness to go above and beyond to engage with the community.
• Customer-centric mindset and professional presentation.
• SAP experience is valued, not required.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and balance transactions.
• Actively seek new clients, contracts and marketing opportunities to hit targets.
• Attend to customers, answer questions and convey the range of services offered by ILS.
• Provide information on products from physiotherapy items to mobility aids and home care.
• Assist with administration and stock replenishment duties.
• Process orders and hire contracts.
• Drive process efficiency and community engagement.
• Be the face of ILS in the local community and build relationships with customers and businesses.

Move your career forward with ILS. We are currently recruiting for a Casual Retail Assistant at our Maroochydore store working approx. 15-20 hours per week including Saturdays.

Your positive and persistent approach to customer service and community engagement will see your success in this location. We are looking for a motivated, self-starter with the will to succeed, who is not afraid to pro-actively build relationships and drive sales.

Your "New" Day to Day:

Opening and closing the store and balancing transactions

Actively seeking new clients, contracts and marketing opportunities to ensure your targets are achieved or exceeded

Attending to incoming customers, assisting them with their questions and being able to convey the range of services that are available from the ILS Group.

Providinginformation to customers about our products from physiotherapy items to mobility scooters, recliner lift chairs through to our range of home care beds, home oxygen therapy and more...

Assisting with the administration and stock replenishment duties for the store

Processing orders and hire contracts

Driving process efficiencyand striving for continual improvement

Being the face of ILS in the local community and driving relationships with customers and other local businesses

About You:

You may have a strongRetail background and want to apply your skills in the Allied Health industry.

You may be studyingOccupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy or Nursing and looking for a position where you can adapt your knowledge.

You will be keen togo above and beyond to interact with your community and increase store exposure

You will have acustomer-centric mindset, because at ILS we are all about the customer!

You will bewell presented,professional andcourteous

You will havefantastic interpersonal skills andlove connecting with people from all walks of life

Have agenuinedesire to help others with your knowledge and abilities.

You will have second to noneadministration skills, including the ability toprioritize your time

You may have SAP experience, which is not required but is highly valued.
