Job summary

Goodstart Torquay is seeking a Casual Educator to support our centres and children across shifts from 6:00am to 6:45pm, Monday to Friday. The role focuses on safety, inclusivity and enriching learning experiences while you travel between local services as needed.

You will join a supportive team, with opportunities for professional development and career pathways, plus above-award wages, casual leave loading, and access to a Fitness Passport.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.

Centre: Goodstart Torquay

Employment Type: Casual shifts Monday to Friday between 6:00am and 6:45pm

Pay: $42.88 -$48.29 per hour + Superannuation + Benefits
