Job summary

Goodstart Woree - Toogood Road in Cairns region is seeking a Casual Educator to join our team. You will help deliver engaging early learning experiences for children across our centres with flexible hours and supportive centre leadership.

As a Casual Educator, you’ll support the education program, supervise children, and uphold safety and inclusivity. A Certificate III in Children’s Services and a working with children check are required; training is available via the Geccko platform.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent is required.
• Working with children check is mandatory.
• Completion of National Child Safety Foundation Training via Geccko is required.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and centre.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies.
• Supporting reflective practice and ongoing improvement.
