Job summary

Goodstart Toormina is seeking a Casual Educator to support our early learning centre in Toormina, NSW. You will join a friendly team, delivering care and learning experiences to children within a flexible shift pattern from 6.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

This role offers above award wages, casual leave loading, and access to Fitness Passport. Applicants must have Certificate III in Children’s Services or equivalent, WWCC, and be willing to travel between local services.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Children’s Services or an equivalent qualification.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain.
• Willing to travel between local services and flexible availability Monday–Friday, 6:30am–6:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Actively support the education program in the room and with the centre team.
• Engage and supervise children at all times to ensure safety and inclusion.
• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and staff.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Support compliance with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies.
• Participate in ongoing reflective practice and continuous improvement.

Certificate III - Children’s Services or equiv

If you have hold an ACECQA approved early childhood qualification, Current NSW Working with Children Check, are willing to travel between other local services and will have flexible availability between Monday-Friday, 6.30am to 6.30pm.
