Job summary

Australian Personnel Solutions – Dandenong VIC is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join a busy team in Dandenong South. This casual role will handle enquiries, bookings and data entry, coordinating with sales, logistics and operations for a smooth customer experience.

There is potential for permanency after 3–6 months. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail and a proactive, team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, administration or similar.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Good problem-solving and initiative.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and manage customer email enquiries
• Create and coordinate customer service bookings
• Update customer schedules and service requirements as needed
• Complete data entry, dockets, reports and general administration
• Maintain accurate information in internal systems
• Set up new customer accounts and maintain existing records
• Process export bookings and data entry
• Enter and action contamination reports
• Assist with weighbridge operations
• Complete filing, scanning and document management
• Provide administrative support to customer service and sales teams
• Deliver professional and friendly customer service at all times
