Job summary

Talent Acquisition Group is seeking a capable candidate for a casual role in Melbourne, focusing on customer service and despatch support. The role requires strong communication, reliability, and local knowledge of Melbourne suburbs and regional Victoria.

You will handle bookings, monitor couriers, and support the Despatch Team in a fast-paced environment. The position offers afternoon-evening hours (2:00pm–10:00pm), a casual hourly rate, and opportunities for growth within the business.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and organised.
• Confident using computers.
• Friendly and a good communicator.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Local geographical knowledge of Melbourne area.
• Logistics or dispatch experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and enter bookings, meet customer service KPIs and service targets, resolve enquiries and complaints professionally, escalate complex issues.
• Coordinate and monitor the courier fleet, allocate and schedule jobs, respond to driver, customer and staff enquiries, assist with delivery times, addresses, PODs and charges.
