Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking a skilled Cook to join our kitchen team on a casual basis at AVANI Cypress Lakes Resorts in NSW. You will assist with cooking, plating, and presenting meals to a high standard, maintain safety and hygiene, and support a smooth daily kitchen operation.

We offer rotating shifts across breakfast and dinner, with hourly rates ranging from AUD 27.97 to AUD 41.96, plus extensive staff discounts on accommodation, F&B, retail and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist with the cooking and plating of meals.
• Cook a variety of dishes in line with menu standards and guest expectations.
• Ensure excellent presentation of meals before service.
• Maintain proper food storage, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with WHS requirements.
• Support team members to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.
