Job summary

AVANI Cypress Lakes Resort is seeking skilled cooks to join the kitchen team on a casual basis. You will prepare ingredients, assist in cooking and plating, and ensure meals meet menu standards and presentation expectations. • Minimum 12 months experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role.
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist with the cooking and plating of meals.
• Cook a variety of dishes in line with menu standards and guest expectations.
• Ensure excellent presentation of meals before service.
• Maintain proper food storage, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with WHS requirements.
• Support team members to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.
