Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort in Caloundra, Queensland, is seeking a passionate Commis Chef to join our kitchen team on a casual basis. You will assist with preparation and presentation across all sections and contribute to delivering high-quality dining experiences for guests.

You will work rotating shifts, including weekends, with opportunities to develop culinary skills in a supportive, HACCP-conscious environment.

Qualificações

• Certificate III in Cookery required.
• Knowledge of Modern Australian cuisine.
• Understanding of HACCP and OH&S requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic team environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends.
• Ability to coach and motivate less experienced kitchen team members.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of dishes across all sections of the kitchen.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Take initiative to develop culinary skills and grow within a professional kitchen environment.
• Support less experienced team members when required.
