Pegasus Leisure Group's Cheltenham Club in Cheltenham is seeking an experienced casual Commis Chef to join a busy kitchen team. You’ll prep, cook and plate, supporting senior chefs during peak service while keeping food safety at the core.

We offer hands-on work from prep to pass, a fast-paced environment, and opportunities to learn. Flexible roster including nights, weekends and public holidays within Victoria.

Formación

• Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
• Food Allergens and Do Food Safely Certificate.
• Experience in a busy pub, bistro or high-volume kitchen.
• Solid understanding of basic cooking methods and recipe execution.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Cooking and prepping menu items to high-quality standards.
• Support senior chefs with prep, plating and service when things get busy.
• Keep food safety and hygiene locked in at all times.
• Run your section during service and keep things moving on the pass.
• Keep your station clean, organised and ready for the next wave of tickets.
