Job summary

Pegasus Leisure Group is seeking an experienced Permanent Commis Chef for Stoney's Club in Bacchus Marsh, VIC. You will work hands-on in a fast-paced kitchen, from prep to pass, supporting senior chefs and ensuring top food quality.

The role involves a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays. You will be part of a lively kitchen team within a leading hospitality group known across Victoria.

Qualifications

• Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
• Food Allergens and Do Food Safely Certificate
• Experience in a busy pub, bistro or high-volume kitchen
• Solid understanding of basic cooking methods
• Willingness to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays

Responsibilities

• Cooking and prepping menu items to high-quality standards
• Support senior chefs with prep, plating and service when things get busy
• Maintaining food safety and hygiene at all times
• Running your section during service and managing the pass
• Keeping your station clean and ready for the next wave of orders
