Peninsula Hot Springs Pty is seeking a Casual Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team on the Mornington Peninsula. You will prepare and cook quality dishes aligned with our menu, collaborate with colleagues to deliver a smooth service, maintain hygiene standards and contribute to a positive dining experience for guests.

We are looking for candidates with 2–4 years of kitchen experience, a Commercial Cookery qualification, and a strong work ethic.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a fast paced kitchen.
• A strong work ethic and team spirit.
• Flexibility to work across weekdays, evening shifts, weekends and special events.
• Have a minimum of 2-4 years' industry experience.
• Qualification in Commercial Cookery (Chef).
• Excellent time management skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook quality dishes in line with our menu and standards.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver a smooth service.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring food safety standards are met.
• Bring quality and passion to every plate.
• Liaising with front of house team members regarding the availability of items, additions and relevant changes to the menu.
• Providing assistance with ordering of food items.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
• Ensuring all equipment is appropriately maintained and cleaned.
• Accurately and timely completion of all tasks, as per service requirements.
• Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. Ensuring stock control procedures are being followed.
• Assist in the ordering of food items when required.
• Ensure the smooth running of all operations in line with the Peninsula Hot Springs values, purpose and vision.
