Job summary

EML Group is seeking a dedicated specialist to manage a portfolio of Workers With Highest Needs (WWHN) claims from Newcastle. You will navigate complex cases within NSW legislation, collaborating with icare, medical professionals, employers and other stakeholders to deliver timely, empathetic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in workers' compensation or insurance claims.
• Understanding of NSW legislation and compliance is beneficial.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of WWHN claims with liability determinations.
• Conduct entitlement reviews for weekly compensation and medical expenses.
• Oversee claims involving physical and psychological injuries.
• Facilitate medical case conferences and lead claims reviews.
• Engage with workers, employers and providers to support rehabilitation and wellbeing.
