Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a compassionate Case Manager to support residents experiencing homelessness at The Open Door and Flagstaff facilities in Flagstaff, VIC. You will provide trauma-informed, strengths-based assistance, building tailored plans and coordinating services to help clients secure housing and independence.

Reporting to the Team Leader, this fixed-term full-time role runs until October 2027, with compensation under SCHADS Award Level 5 and hourly rates of $53.43–$55.85 plus

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services or related discipline required.
• Experience in homelessness, housing or community services is essential.
• Strong communication, advocacy and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with health, housing and legal sectors.
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence preferred.
• Working with Children Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality case management and support planning.
• Develop tailored case plans and advocate for clients' needs.
• Coordinate housing, health, legal and social supports.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
• Lead case conferences and coordinate integrated responses.
• Contribute to service development and continuous improvement.
• Support a positive, client-centered team culture.
