Job summary

The Salvation Army in Alice Springs, NT is seeking a Case Manager for the Open House program. This full-time role involves intake, assessment, and collaborative case planning to support men referred through the justice system toward housing and wellbeing goals.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate records, and advocate for clients while upholding cultural safety and trauma-informed practice.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Community Services or related qualification.
• Experience supporting people in a social services environment.
• Demonstrated case management experience and skills.
• Empathy, structure and good judgement in casework.
• Ability to engage with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management to participants in the Men’s Open House program.
• Develop collaborative case plans with participants and support self-determined goals.
• Advocate for clients and assist access to services; maintain accurate records.
• Identify risks and respond to high-risk situations; ensure alignment with care model.
