Job summary

Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution (RFBI) in Concord, NSW, is seeking an experienced aged care carer to join our team. You will provide a wide range of personal care services to residents at the Concord Masonic Village, helping with daily activities and ensuring comfort and dignity.

The role requires Certificate III in Aged Care, solid communication, and a proactive approach. Applicants must have current First Aid, valid police clearance, and eligibility to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care required.
• Current First Aid Certificate required.
• Valid police check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom residents, assist with meals and make beds.
• Provide basic clinical care including wound dressings and medication delivery; record observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Enter reports and observations into iCare.
• Follow directions of the Care Manager to achieve person-centred care.

Position Information:

We are currently seeking an experienced aged care carer to join our wonderful team and work at our Concord Masonic Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents.

The Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution (known as RFBI) is a non-for profit (NFP) organisation that has been in operation for 146 years. We currently operate 22 residential aged care villages, 20 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds
• Providing basic clinical care including; wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Entering reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.
• Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care
