Job summary

RFBI is seeking an experienced aged care carer to join our team at the Cessnock Masonic Village. You will provide a wide range of personal care services to residents, supporting daily activities and comfort in a respectful, person-centred approach.

The role involves basic clinical tasks, medication assistance, and recording observations in our iCare system, with flexible rosters and opportunities for career development within RFBI.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience in an aged care environment.
• An enthusiastic and motivated approach.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Must be eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds.
• Provide basic clinical care including wound dressings; assist with medication delivery and record observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Enter reports and observations into the iCare system.
• Assist and follow directions of the Care Manager to achieve person-centred care.
