Job summary

RFBI is seeking an experienced aged care carer to join the Goulburn Masonic Village team. You will provide personal care services to residents, supporting daily living and dignity.

The role requires caring for residents with diabetes or arthritis, assisting with meals, medications, and basic clinical tasks using the iCare system. Eligibility to work in Australia and a current First Aid certificate are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in an aged care environment.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to follow care plans and directions.

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds.
• Provide basic clinical care including wound dressings and assist with medications.
• Manage care for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Enter reports and observations into the iCare system.
• Support the Care Manager to deliver person-centred care.

We are currently seeking an experienced aged care carer to join our wonderful team and work at our Goulburn Masonic Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents.

The Royal Freemasons’ Benevolent Institution (known as RFBI) is a non-for profit (NFP) organisation that has been in operation for 146 years. We currently operate 22 residential aged care villages, 20 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds
• Providing basic clinical care including; wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Entering reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.
• Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care
