Job summary

RFBI's Concord Masonic Village is seeking an experienced aged care carer to join our dedicated team. You will provide personal care, support residents with meals, hygiene and daily activities while maintaining dignity and respect.

Key duties include wound dressing, medication assistance, diabetes and arthritis care, and recording observations in iCare. Applicants should have Certificate III in Aged Care, strong communication skills, First Aid, and be eligible to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care required.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience in an aged care environment.
• Enthusiastic and motivated approach.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Must be eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds.
• Provide basic clinical care including wound dressings, assist with medication delivery and record observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Enter reports and observations into the iCare computer program.
• Follow directions of the Care Manager to achieve person-centred care.

We are currently seeking an experienced aged care carer to join our wonderful team and work at our Concord Masonic Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds
• Providing basic clinical care including; wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Entering reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.
• Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care
