Job summary

RFBI is seeking dedicated aged care carers to join our team at the Dubbo Village. You will deliver personal care, assist with daily activities, and support residents with a compassionate, person-centred approach.

The role involves basic clinical tasks, documentation in iCare, and collaboration with the Care Manager to ensure high-quality care. Applicants should have Certificate III in Aged Care, First Aid, and a police check, and must be eligible to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care is required.
• Current First Aid Certificate is required.
• Police check clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds.
• Provide basic clinical care including wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Enter reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.
• Assist and follow directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care.

Position Information:

We are currently seeking aged care Carers to join our wonderful team and work at our Dubbo Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds
• Providing basic clinical care including; wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Entering reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.
• Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care

What we look for:

• Certificate III in Aged Care
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Previous experience in an aged care environment
• An enthusiastic and motivated approach
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Valid police check clearance
• Must be eligible to work in Australia.
