Fresh Hope Communities in NSW seeks a Care Service Employee to deliver holistic care for residents, prioritising health, wellbeing, and community connection at Ashwood Residential Care Service in Pendle Hill.

This casual role offers an hourly rate of 35.28–38.26 AUD, with salary packaging, the option to upskill to Medication Competent CSE, access to fully funded vocational training, birthday leave, and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of aged care legislation and regulations is expected.

Responsibilities

• Respect resident rights, dignity and choice by understanding their story and tailoring routines.
• Support mobility and personal hygiene according to resident needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with the team to address underlying causes of changed behaviours and provide appropriate interventions.

Job description

As a Care Service Employee you will deliver holistic care for residents that prioritises health, wellbeing, and community connection to support the changing needs of residents.

• Casual position, located in Pendle Hill at Ashwood Residential Care Service.
• Higher hourly rates (between $35.28 - 38.26) plus the benefit of salary packaging
• The option to upskill to Medication Competent CSE and access to fully funded vocational training

Your Contribution

• Ensure respect for residentrights, dignity, and choice through understanding of their story, and thetailoring of routines and preferences foreach individual person
• Ensure the provision ofhigh-quality support in maintaining residents mobility and personalhygiene (showers, toileting, oral health) according to individual residentneeds, strengths, choices & preferences
• Ensure collaboration with teammembers to address the underlying causes of changed behaviours and provideappropriate interventions
• Proactively model the Fresh HopeCommunities’ Values in all interactions with the team, stakeholders,system users, and external parties.
• Proactively contribute to thedevelopment of a collaborative, high-engagement, high-communication teamculture focused on resident-centred care.

The Essentials

• Have a Certificate III inIndividual Support (Aged Care).
• Align with our values of Kindness,Integrity, Connection and Optimism
• Relevant experience in providingcare services within the residential aged care environment.
• Knowledge of legislation andregulations relevant to aged care.
• Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• A Current National Criminal Record Check suitable for agedcare or NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain
