Job summary

Fresh Hope Communities seeks a Leisure and Lifestyle Lead to champion holistic wellbeing for residents in NSW. You will coach staff, plan activities, and connect community groups and volunteers to enhance quality of life.

You will empower teams to implement person-centred approaches, monitor outcomes, and promote belonging with empathy, collaboration and proactive leadership. Great for those passionate about aged care wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification and experience leading wellbeing approaches for residents in a healthcare setting.
• Learn and work within the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation framework.
• Demonstrated leadership to coach and engage a team to perform at their best.
• Collaborative, empathetic, energetic and proactive with a can-do attitude.
• A current NDIS Worker Check or Criminal History Check suitable for aged care.
• Able to undertake a role with moderate physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the leadership team to implement holistic person-centred wellbeing initiatives.
• Ensure effective implementation of person-centred programs developed by Care teams.
• Monitor and track progress of wellbeing programs.
• Support care staff to set up spaces that provide residents with purpose, choice and dignity.
• Mentor staff, residents and families to promote belonging and wellbeing.
• Plan, budget, execute and clean up events and activities with relevant teams.
• Establish working relationships with local community groups aligned with Fresh Hope goals.

As our Leisure and Lifestyle Lead, you will champion regular andad-hoc activities that enable residents to experience meaningful and holisticwellbeing tailored to them.

Your “coach like”approach will support the staff to plan activities and implement wellbeinginitiatives that promotes their quality of life and that connects communitygroups and volunteers to the resident community.Our leadership team willempower you to get to really know our residents, understand what will make adifference and think outside the box to try something new and impactful.

Your Contribution

• Supportthe leadership team to implement approaches and interventions that promoteholistic person-centred wellbeing for residents
• Ensureeffective implementation of person-centred programs/initiatives that havebeen developed by the Care teams
• Monitorand track the progress of person-centered wellbeing programs
• Ensurecare staff are supported to set up spaces that provide residents withpurpose, whilst enabling choice and dignity
• Providementoring to staff, residents and their families to promote belonging,wellbeing, and values alignment
• Ensureeffective planning, budget management, execution, and cleanup of eventsand activities alongside relevant teams
• Establisheffective working relationships with local community groups that alignwith the Fresh Hope service goals, and provide social andcare services to residents

• Adeptat conflict resolution and able to find common ground within a range ofstakeholders
