Job summary

You will prepare meals, deliver dining room service, assist the chef, and support residents with personalised care while maintaining a home-like, respectful environment across residential aged care settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or care services is preferred.
• Warm, approachable attitude with clear communication to residents and team.
• Comfortable using IT systems and learning new tools.
• Able to work well in a team and keep residents at the centre of care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food is provided to residents at their chosen mealtime.
• Provide varied, nutritious meals meeting residents' needs in aged care.
• Deliver excellent personalised service to residents.
• Prepare meals and drinks; distribute meals and assist kitchen staff.
• Support dining room service, complete documentation and housekeeping tasks.

• Ensuring food is provided to residents at their chosen mealtime
• Provide a varied and nutritional food service, which meets the needs of the aged residents within the residential aged care setting.
• Provide excellent personalised service to our residents.
• Prepare meals and drinks.
• Distribute meals to residents, assisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties.
• Dining room services.
• Complete documentation.

What You Bring

• You bring experience in hospitality or care services, ideally within residential aged care, qualifications a plus
• You’re warm, approachable and communicate clearly with residents and team members
• You’re comfortable using IT systems and open to learning new tools
• You work well in a team and always put residents at the centre of what you do
• You’re physically capable of handling a hands-on role and ready to pitch in where needed
• You hold (or are willing to obtain) a current National Criminal History Check suitable for aged care
