Job summary

Fresh Hope Communities is seeking a Casual Care Service Employee to deliver holistic aged care at Coffs Haven Residential Care Service. You will support residents with mobility, personal care, and daily routines, while prioritising dignity and wellbeing.

The role offers shifts 4pm–8pm and an hourly rate between AUD 31.33 and 35.19 plus salary packaging. Essentials include Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care), current First Aid, and eligibility for a National Criminal Record Check or

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) required.

• Relevant experience in providing care in residential aged care.
• Knowledge of aged care legislation and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• National Criminal Record Check or NDIS Worker Check eligibility or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Respect residents' rights, dignity and choice by understanding their stories and tailoring routines.
• Support residents with mobility and personal care (showering, toileting, oral health) according to needs.
• Collaborate with team to address underlying causes of behaviours and provide interventions.

Job description

As a Care Service Employee you will deliver holistic care for residents that prioritises health, wellbeing, and community connection to support the changing needs of residents.

• Casual position, ideally available for shifts 4pm - 8pm at Coffs Haven Residential Care Service
• Higher hourly rates (between $31.33 - 35.19) plus the benefit of salary packaging
• The option to upskill to Medication Competent CSE and access to fully funded vocational training

Your Contribution

• Ensure respect for residentrights, dignity, and choice through understanding of their story, and thetailoring of routines and preferences foreach individual person
• Ensure the provision ofhigh-quality support in maintaining residents mobility and personalhygiene (showers, toileting, oral health) according to individual resident
• needs, strengths, choices & preferences
• Ensure collaboration with teammembers to address the underlying causes of changed behaviours and provideappropriate interventions
• Proactively model the Fresh HopeCommunities’ Values in all interactions with the team, stakeholders,system users, and external parties.

The Essentials

• Have a Certificate III inIndividual Support (Aged Care).
