Job summary

Fresh Hope Communities is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Ashwood Residential Service in Pendle Hill, NSW. This casual role offers flexible shifts, higher hourly rates, and salary packaging benefits.

You will provide holistic aged care, lead care staff, and deliver nursing processes within a compassionate, person-centered framework, while upholding standards and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Ability to lead a team of Care Staff.
• Clinical assessment skills and commitment to best practice. approaches to care delivery.
• Organisational and planning skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A current Criminal History Check (within the last three years) suitable for aged care (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest standard of care for residents in accordance with the Aged Care Standards and Aged Care Act
• Deliver comprehensive care and individual case management to residents according to the organisational clinical framework and care model.
• Ensure effective delivery of the nursing process through the effective resident entry, assessment, care planning and delivery, evaluation and exit by recognised professional standards.
• Lead and coordinate care staff to effectively deliver residents care, everyday activities, administration of medication and interventions that promote overall resident well-being and meaningful engagement
• Coach the care staff to enable them to deliver high quality care, develop skills and knowledge gaps.
• Liaise with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic person-centered approach
• Build positive relationships with Residents, families, and other staff members

As a Registered Nurse you will deliver holistic care for residents that prioritises health, wellbeing, and community connection to support the changing needs of residents.

• Casual position at Ashwood Residential Service in Pendle Hill, NSW.
• Higher hourly rates (between $47.79 - 56.52) plus the benefit of salary packaging

Your Contribution
