You will deliver warm, professional admin support, manage bookings, liaise with hospital staff, and ensure smooth patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration or customer service, ideally in healthcare or aged care
• Strong time management and prioritisation skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to support patients sensitively
• Confidence in billing/receipting medical accounts (Medicare and DVA experience preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, helping ensure their experience is smooth, respectful, and informed
• Managing appointment bookings, rescheduling, and patient communications
• Liaising with hospital staff, doctors, and clinical teams
• Checking patient GP referrals and Medicare data for accuracy
• Answering incoming calls promptly and professionally
• Processing billing and receipting for patient accounts, including Medicare and DVA
• Supporting the team with efficient use of Health Track system
