Job summary

Navitas is seeking an IT Support Officer to provide day-to-day technical support for staff and students at the Roe Street campus, with secondary support to other Perth locations. This role ensures reliable IT services, maintains classroom technology, and contributes to a positive user experience across spaces.

You will work closely with the IT Team Leader, assist with setups, and maintain documentation while delivering responsive, professional support on-site during business hours.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate-level IT qualification or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of IT support or service desk experience.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace, Apple Mac, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with infrastructure, printing and AV/conferencing systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, time management, and communication skills.
• Customer service focus and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for staff, students, and visitors.
• Support classroom technology, meeting rooms, and shared IT facilities.
• Respond to service desk tickets, walk-ups, and phone/email inquiries.
• Escalate complex issues to Team Lead or relevant technical teams.
• Install and configure computers, peripherals, and classroom AV equipment.
• Maintain device inventory and asset tracking.
• Assist in setting up staff equipment (laptops, monitors, docks).
• Deliver on-site IT support during business hours to ensure availability.
