Compass Group Pty Limited seeks a Full-time Cafe Supervisor in Sydney to lead a high-end coffee service team and ensure premium guest experiences.

You will specialise in coffee making, train baristas, and manage daily operations with a focus on quality and speed in a prestigious environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a barista delivering premium coffee and service.
• RSA and Food Safety certifications or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffees with precision and speed.
• Adjust espresso machine settings for consistency and quality.
• Lead baristas and food service operations on shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and daily machine upkeep.
• Provide exceptional on-site customer service to staff and guests.

Full-time Cafe Supervisor

$77,336 per annum plus Superannuation

• Monday to Friday day shifts only, rosters 7am-3pm or 8am -4pm

THE POSITION

• Utilise your solid understanding of coffee, brewing methods and grind adjustment to create a variety of coffees


• Speed, efficiency and A+ quality is vital as is the ability to set, adjust, correct machine and grinder settings


• People leadership, guest service, administration and operational management


• Lead the baristas and food services operations


• Responsible for cleaning, maintenance, and daily step down of machine


• Providing exceptional customer service to all employees on site

THE PERSON

• We’re after experienced Barista’s (true coffee connoisseurs) who are comfortable producing high-quality coffees, with speed!


• A passion for food and delivering exceptional customer service


• Strong communication skills and professional personal presentation


• Looking to be upskilled in managerial developments


• Excellent social skills and ability to maintain casual conversation


• RSA certified, Food Safety certification (or ability to obtain)


• Full time Australian working rights (Due to the setting of this environment the successful candidate will be required to obtain a National Police Check)
