Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a Barista (casual) to deliver high-end service in boardrooms and events across Perth, Australia. You will showcase coffee expertise, maintain premium beverages, and work across multiple elite corporate sites with flexible casual shifts.

You’ll bring passion for hospitality, latte art skills, grooming, and professional presentation. Training on-site and opportunities for growth are offered within premium environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in fine dining or premium coffee service.
• Passion for hospitality and coffee culture.
• Exceptional grooming and professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and casual conversations with on-site employees.
• Have solid understanding of coffee, brewing methods and grind adjustments to create a variety of coffees.
• Set, adjust & correct machine and grinder settings for quality and efficiency.
• Prepare premium beverages with emphasis on quality and precision.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in upscale settings.
• Foster a warm, inviting atmosphere with a personal touch while maintaining efficiency.
• Responsible for cleaning, maintenance, and daily step down of machines.

$28.82 + 25% casual loading ($36.03 inc. casual loading)

Deliver high-end service in boardrooms and during events at elite corporate sites. Showcase your love for coffee and passion for providing high quality service at our high-end sites in Perth.

THE POSITION

• Providing exceptional customer service and casual conversation to all employees on site.
• At this level you will have a solid understanding of coffee, brewing methods and grind adjustment to create a variety of coffees.
• Speed, efficiency and quality are vitalalong with the ability to set, adjust & correct machine and grinder settings.
• Prepare premium beverages with an emphasis on quality and precision.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in busy, upscale settings.
• Foster a warm, inviting atmosphere, offering a personal touch to every customer whilst maintaining efficiency.
• Responsible for cleaning, maintenance, and daily step down of machine

THE PERSON

• 2+ Years previous experience in fine dining or premium coffee service is essential.
• Passion for hospitality and a genuine love for coffee culture.
• Exceptional grooming, presentation, and attention to detail.
• Available on weekdays.
• Tech-savvy & able to use various coffee machines.
• You have great communication skills and professional personal presentation.
• You hold a Barista certificate and Latte art is your forte.
