Bankstown Sports Club’s Cornerstone Café seeks an experienced Café Team Leader to drive service excellence in a fast-paced setting. The role leads from the front, coaching a busy team to deliver outstanding customer experiences across service periods.

You’ll empower staff, maintain food and beverage standards, and promote RSA/RCG compliance. Expect a proactive leader focused on teamwork, safety, and guest satisfaction within a premier hospitality venue.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a café, hospitality, food & beverage or customer service environment.
• Leadership, Team Leader or Supervisor experience within a hospitality setting.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop team members.
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to stay calm and organized during busy trading periods.
• Hands-on and proactive leadership style.
• Strong understanding of hospitality operations and customer expectations.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cafe Team Leader to join our leadership team and help drive service excellence in this dynamic environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Café Manager, the Cafe Team Leader plays a key role in the day-to-day leadership and success of Cornerstone Café.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll lead from the front, support a busy service operation, coach team members and ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience. You'll thrive in a high-volume environment and enjoy motivating a team to consistently deliver outstanding service.

You're a confident hospitality leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop team members.

• Current RSA and RCG qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster across days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
