Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of coffees with attention to quality and speed.
• Adjust machine and grinder settings for consistency.
• Maintain stock levels and keep workspace clean.
• Assist with food service when required.
• Clean, maintain and perform daily steps down of equipment.
• Provide exceptional service to on-site staff and guests.

Restaurant Associates has an enviable track record, working with some of the most prestigious venues and corporations in the world. From grand gala events, corporate cocktail parties to intimate gatherings, we provide bespoke food solutions and exceptional dining experiences.

We’re looking for a fun, energetic and bubbly barista/café allrounder to join our corporate café team. Shifts vary between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. You’ll make great coffee, provide friendly service and happily jump in to help the team wherever needed.

THE POSITION

• Utilise your solid understanding of coffee, brewing methods and grind adjustment to create a variety of coffees
• Speed, efficiency and A+ quality is vital as is the ability to set, adjust, correct machine and grinder settings
• Maintain coffee stocks and ensure your space is clean
• Assist with food service where required
• Responsible for cleaning, maintenance, and daily step down of machine
• Providing exceptional customer service to all employees on site

THE PERSON

• We’re after experienced Barista’s (true coffee connoisseurs) who are comfortable producing high-quality coffees, with speed
• Ideally you will have at least 6 months experience in a barista role within a franchise/cafe environment
• Strong communication skills and professional personal presentation
• Friendly positive attitude & willingness to help where needed
• Excellent communication skills and confident in working independently
• Knowledge of Health and Safety rules and allergens
