With an established local following and a menu spanning breakfast and lunch favourites, fresh meals, sandwiches, wraps and sweet treats, Ek’sentrik has built its place as a go-to café for its customers.

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Café Manager to take ownership of daily operations, lead the team and help drive the continued success of the business.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Café Manager who understands what it takes to run a successful café, from managing the team and maintaining service standards to overseeing rostering, stock ordering and financial performance.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can confidently manage the day-to-day operation while keeping a close eye on labour costs, budgets, sales and overall profitability.

You will take responsibility for organising rosters and timesheets through Deputy, managing invoices and financial administration through Xero, and using your commercial acumen to support forecasting, budgeting and P&L performance.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable balancing the practical demands of café operations with the financial responsibilities of managing a business.

• Practical experience using Xero for invoicing and financial administration
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting and P&L oversight
• Experience managing labour costs, stock ordering and operational expenses
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities
• Commercially minded, with a focus on cost control and business performance
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• A hands-on approach and a genuine passion for hospitality
