Leichhardt café is seeking an experienced Café Manager to lead day-to-day operations, driving service and team performance while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will oversee a team of about 11 across front of house and kitchen, ensuring smooth rosters, cost control, stock management and quality standards, with a hands-on leadership style and strong focus on staff development and customer satisfaction.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years managing a café or busy hospitality venue.
• Excellent coffee knowledge and barista skills.
• Hands-on leadership style with ability to train and motivate a team.
• Proven rostering, stock management and cost control experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willing to work weekends; no night shifts.

What you will be doing:

• As our Café Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the day-to-day operation, leading from the front and making sure everything runs smoothly.
• Leading, motivating and developing a team of approximately 11 staff, including kitchen.

About You:

You are the kind of person who thrives in a busy café, knows what great service looks like and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves.

You will bring:

• At least 2 years' experience managing a café, restaurant or busy hospitality venue.
• strong barista skills and a genuine appreciation for great coffee.
• confidence leading, training and motivating a team.
• a hands-on leadership style. You are happy to jump on the coffee machine or help on the floor.
• a good understanding of rosters, labour costs, stock management and café profitability.
• a friendly, outgoing personality and excellent customer service skills.
• strong organisation, initiative and problem-solving skills.
• a positive attitude and the ability to keep your cool when things get busy.
• a genuine passion for hospitality and delivering a memorable customer experience.
• availability to work weekends, with no night shifts required.
