Starbucks Australia is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Double Bay NSW to help lead store operations, develop a high‑performing team and bring the Starbucks Experience to life.

This permanent full‑time role is 38 hours per week with weekend and public holiday allowances, guaranteed hours and a flexible five‑shift roster.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years’ progressively responsible experience, including at least one year in a customer-facing role.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in store leadership roles, ideally in hospitality or quick service.
• Experience supporting store operations and contributing to financial performance.
• Exposure to rostering, budgets, and P&L reports.
• Proven ability to develop teams and foster a positive, inclusive work environment.

The ideal candidate will be able to work Full time 38 hours per week and be flexible to work five shifts per week across Monday to Sunday between the hours of 6.30am to 7.30pm.

The Opportunity

As an Assistant Store Manager at Starbucks, you’ll play a key leadership role in bringing the Starbucks Experience to life. Working closely with the Store Manager, you’ll help lead store operations, develop a high‑performing team, and create a welcoming third place for customers and communities.

This is a hands‑on leadership opportunity where you’ll grow your business acumen, coaching capability, and operational expertise while being supported to take the next step in your leadership career.
