Job summary

Starbucks Australia is seeking a full-time Assistant Store Manager in a permanent, 38-hour-per-week role on the Central Coast in New South Wales. You will partner with the Store Manager to lead store operations, develop a high-performing team, and deliver the Starbucks Experience in a welcoming third place for customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Two years progressively responsible experience, including at least one year in a customer-facing role.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous store leadership experience, ideally in hospitality or quick service.
• Experience supporting store operations and contributing to financial performance.
• Exposure to rostering, budgets, and P&L reports.
• Proven ability to develop teams and foster an inclusive work environment.

To be a Starbucks Assistant Store Manager

We’d love to hear from people who have:

• A minimum of two years’ progressively responsible experience , including at least one year in a customer‑facing role
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills
• The ability to lead effectively in a fast‑paced environment
• Previous experience in store leadership roles , ideally within the hospitality or quick service restaurant sector
• Experience supporting store operations and contributing to financial performance
• Exposure to rostering, budgets, and profit & loss (P&L) reports
• A proven ability to develop teams and foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment
