Starbucks Australia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for a permanent full‑time role (38 hours per week). You will work closely with the Store Manager to lead store operations, develop a high-performing team, and create a welcoming third place for customers and communities.

This hands‑on leadership role offers growth in business acumen, coaching capability, and operational expertise with mentoring and structured career progression toward Store Manager roles.

Qualifications

• Two years’ progressively responsible experience, including at least one year in customer-facing role.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in store leadership within hospitality or QSR.
• Experience supporting store operations and contributing to financial performance.
• Exposure to rostering, budgets, and P&L reports.
• Proven ability to develop teams and foster a positive, inclusive environment.

The Opportunity

To be a Starbucks Assistant Store Manager

We’d love to hear from people who have:

• A minimum of two years’ progressively responsible experience, including at least one year in a customer‑facing role
