Job summary

Signpac – a division of GJI Group, is seeking a proactive Business Development Specialist to expand School Signs in Brisbane’s northern region. The role targets Principals, Heads of Departments, and school staff, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and delivering tailored signage solutions.

The ideal candidate will have proven sales success in signage or education sectors, strong stakeholder skills, and the ability to work in a consultative selling environment.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in signage, education, or LED lighting/electrical industries.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to close deals.
• Comfort with consultative sales and face-to-face meetings.
• Willingness to travel locally and interstate; own vehicle required.
• Signage or education background desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pitch, and secure long-term client relationships with school stakeholders.
• Advise Principals, Heads of Departments, Business Managers and admin staff to meet client needs.
• Negotiate and close business deals with a focus on revenue targets.
• Travel locally/interstate as required; able to work remotely from home.
