Hare & Forbes Machineryhouse in Adelaide is seeking a motivated sales professional to grow our customer base across South Australia. Based at our Woodville branch, you will visit customers, identify opportunities and provide practical machinery and tooling solutions.

You'll handle inbound enquiries, support the branch team, and leverage an uncapped bonus program. A trade or industrial sales background is ideal, especially in metalworking or woodworking sectors, with strong relationship-building

About the role

We're looking for a motivated sales professional to grow our customer base and build brand awareness across South Australia.

Based at our Woodville branch, you'll spend time visiting customers, identifying new opportunities, and providing practical machinery and tooling solutions. You'll also handle inbound enquiries and support the branch team as required.

A background in trade or industrial sales is ideal, particularly experience supplying the metalworking or woodworking industries.

What will you be doing?

Identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

Visiting existing and prospective customers, including cold calling.

Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products.

Preparing quotations, processing orders and invoicing.

Following up enquiries, quotations and sales leads.

Supporting the branch team with sales and customer service.

What will you bring?

A sales and/or trade background, ideally within machinery or industrial equipment.

Confidence approaching new customers and developing business.

A practical, solution-based approach to selling.

Strong listening skills and attention to detail.

Good organisation, time management and follow-through.

Competence with Microsoft Office and business systems; Pronto experience is highly regarded.
