Job summary

Hare & Forbes, a long-standing supplier of engineering and workshop equipment, is seeking an experienced Storeperson for our Northmead NSW branch. You will handle receiving, packing, and dispatch, using RF scanners and dispatch software, with an emphasis on accuracy and customer service.

The role requires proven warehouse experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with varying freight sizes. Overtime may be rostered; forklift license is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role (Dispatch and Customer Service).
• Knowledge of warehousing & distribution.
• RF scanning experience.
• Current Driver's license & Own Reliable Transport.
• Ability to work with different sized freight (small parcels to heavy machinery).
• Dispatch Software experience preferred.
• Teamwork with focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Accepting deliveries, unpack, sort and check goods received for quality, type or size.
• Maintain up-to-date records of goods within the store.
• Assemble goods to satisfy orders or schedules, including re-packing where appropriate.
• Ensure holdings of goods in containers and dispatch to other locations.
• Distribute goods to authorised persons and complete relevant documentation/records.
• Use RF Scanners for Pick and Pack, loading stock and machinery.
• Inventory control and stocktakes.
• Receive & dispatch of goods; pick & pack with RF scanners; unload containers.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced and organised Storeperson to join our team at our Branch in Northmead NSW. You’ll be working in our Warehouse responsible for receiving and dispatch of both large & small stock.

What will you be doing?

Accepting deliveries, unpack, sort and check goods received for quality, type or size.

Maintaining up to date records of goods within the store.

Assembling goods to satisfy orders, requisitions or schedules, including re-packing where appropriate.

Ensuring holdings of goods in containers and/or arrange dispatch to other locations.

Distributing goods to authorized persons and complete relevant documentation/records.

Using RF Scanners for Pick and Pack, loading of stock and machinery.

Inventory control
