• Acquire and maintain knowledge of goods and services sold and competitors' offerings.
• Establish strategies and maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Assess customer needs to increase sales activities.
• Provide technical support when needed.
• Promote and build brand awareness.
• Provide quotations and negotiate prices, assist in order management.
• Follow up existing customers to ensure satisfaction and provide feedback to management.

Based in northern metropolitan Adelaide our client is a is a leading supplier and distributer of valves, pipelines and oilfield products. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to manage the selling of their industrial products to clients around Australia.

Your responsibilities would include:

Main Duties

• Formulation and implementation of policies and plans for sales and marketing in consultation with the management team
• Managing, developing, building and growing existing and new key accounts
• Planning, organising and controlling the sales and marketing activities by setting product mix, sales areas and customer service standards
• Acquire and maintain your knowledge of the goods and services sold and those of direct competitors
• Establish strategies and maintain a professional relationship with customers
• Assessing customer needs to increase sales activities
• Provide Technical support when needed.
• Promote and Build Brand awareness
• Provide quotations and negotiate prices, assist in the management of orders
• Follow up existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and to provide feedback to management
