LexisNexis Legal & Professional group in Sydney (Hybrid) seeks a true player-coach Business Development Associate (Team Lead) to drive personal sales while coaching a growing Associates team. You will accelerate new business growth across a significant untapped market of law firms and support capability uplift and engagement.

You will lead a high-energy outbound sales function, leveraging AI tools and modern sales practices to achieve ambitious targets and nurture teams toward peak performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outbound sales, tele sales, or SDR environments.
• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Natural coaching ability with mentoring and lifting team performance.
• Resilient, driven, and comfortable in a high-rejection environment.
• Creative and strategic in engaging decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Own and exceed personal sales targets through outbound prospecting.
• Support the wider team to achieve revenue outcomes and targets.
• Lead by example in high-volume, phone-led outbound sales.
• Qualify and progress opportunities for the Business Development team.
• Provide ongoing coaching and development support to team members.
• Manage inbound leads and execute structured outreach campaigns.
• Maintain accurate records for pipeline visibility and data integrity.
• Provide feedback on customer trends and market opportunities.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and engagement.
