LexisNexis Risk Solutions in Sydney is seeking a Business Development Associate to drive new business growth in a large, largely untapped market. You will learn to identify opportunities, engage prospects, and contribute to building pipeline and revenue in a fast-paced outbound role.

You’ll work with experienced sales professionals, develop core selling capabilities, and progress into future Business Development Manager opportunities within a globally leading analytics and technology company.

• Early experience in tele sales, SDR, BDA, or a customer-facing sales role.
• Strong motivation to build a long-term career in sales.
• High resilience and ability to thrive in a high-activity, high-rejection environment.
• Confident communicator with strong phone presence and interpersonal skills.
• Curious, coachable, and eager to continuously learn and improve.

Responsabilités

• Prospecting & Outreach: Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via phone, email, and targeted campaigns across defined territories.
• Lead Management: Manage inbound leads and follow up on marketing activity in a timely and professional manner.
• Qualification: Identify customer needs, qualify opportunities, and build early-stage pipeline.
• Sales Support: Book and support product demonstrations in partnership with Business Development Managers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior sales stakeholders to progress opportunities through the pipeline.
• Pipeline Development: Execute structured outreach strategies to generate consistent, high-quality opportunities.
• CRM Discipline: Maintain accurate activity tracking, pipeline management, and data integrity within CRM systems.
• AI Fluency: Leverage AI tools and digital technologies to improve prospecting, productivity, and customer engagement.
