Job summary

R.E Talent is seeking a Building Manager to oversee three large residential buildings in the Greater Sydney region. The role blends on-site duties with work-from-home and office days, in a growing boutique strata and facilities business.

You will be the primary contact for residents and committees, manage contractors and prepare reports. A minimum of 1 year in building, facilities or strata is required; a valid Australian driver’s licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year’s building, facilities or strata management experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential building operations and maintenance.
• Confidence dealing with residents, committees and contractors.
• Professional approach to complaints and difficult conversations.
• Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the residential building.
• Be the key contact for residents, owners, committees and strata managers.
• Manage contractors, quotes, work orders and access.
• Follow up outstanding maintenance through to completion.
• Identify building defects, hazards and operational issues.
• Prepare building reports, notices and committee updates.
• Support capital works or insurance remedial projects.
• Maintain accurate building records and ensure compliance is up to date.

A privately-owned Boutique Strata & Facilities business serving the Greater Sydney region.

They are led by an incredible leader who is at the forefront of shaping the building & strata industry; the role is a end to end Building Manager role with some elements of Strata.

THE ROLE

This role involves working across three large buildings across St George & Sutherland Shire; it’s a mixed role which includes 2-3 days on site, 1 day from home and 1 day working from the company office.
