Job summary
Avani Living Queen's Wharf Residences in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily hotel operations across Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance. The role demands hands-on leadership, guest service excellence and a decisive approach to achieving financial targets.
Working with the General Manager, you will coach high-performing teams, manage rosters, monitor performance, and drive improvements to guest experiences while balancing cost controls and revenue
Qualifications
- Previous hotel department head or senior operations leadership experience.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and drive financial performance.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Provide operational leadership across all hotel areas and ensure service standards.
- Manage daily operations, including rosters and weekend/evening coverage.
- Drive guest feedback improvements and implement continuous improvements.
- Monitor performance and profitability; support budgets and revenue opportunities.
