Novotel Brisbane City Centre is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the hotel’s maintenance team, oversee resources, and drive preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure peak performance and safety. The role emphasizes leadership, financial acumen, and cross-department collaboration in a busy Brisbane hotel.

You will manage ongoing maintenance programs, coordinate with on-site contractors, and aim to deliver an exceptional guest experience across all facilities.

Formación

• A dynamic leader with a background in maintenance or engineering, within hospitality or accommodation industry desirable.
• Strong administrative and computer proficiencies with stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Financial understanding to manage a profitable operation and familiarity with WHS compliance.
• Ability to perform emergency maintenance tasks beyond regular hours (power outages, fire evacuations, mechanical failures).

Responsabilidades

• Implement a service-centric strategy for overseeing guest needs while executing scheduled maintenance.
• Ensure clear and efficient communication at all levels, from the General Manager to guests and on-site contractors.
• Report and track programmed maintenance while keeping stakeholders engaged, including external contractors with email and telephone communications.
• Foster close collaboration with all departments to effectively address and resolve issues as they arise.
