Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for Avani Living Queen's Wharf Residences in Brisbane. You will lead daily hotel operations across Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance, balancing guest service with strong commercial outcomes.

This hands-on role requires flexibility to work weekends and evenings and a focus on coaching high-performing teams. You will partner with the General Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences while monitoring budgets, revenue

Qualifications

Experience leading hotel operations or department head roles.
Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate teams.
Proven ability to manage budgets, costs, and achieve targets.

Responsibilities

Lead Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to deliver guest experiences.
Provide operational leadership across hotel operations and service standards.
Oversee daily operations and roster coverage, including weekends/evenings.
Drive guest satisfaction through proactive feedback management and continuous improvements.
Support brand activations, events and initiatives to boost performance.
Coach and develop team members to foster a positive workplace culture.
Monitor performance, presentation and profitability to meet financial targets.
