Job summary

DXC Technology Brisbane is seeking Field Support Technicians to provide IT support to customers across a range of workplace environments. You will assist end users with day-to-day technology needs, set up and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals, and log incidents with ServiceNow where applicable.

Work arrangement includes on-site duties with occasional WFH flexibility once a month, and a start window of 4–6 weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience providing desktop and end-user support to a range of users.
• Ability to configure, maintain and troubleshoot laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
• Clear communication and strong organization to manage incidents and assets.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop support to a range of users, including senior executives.
• Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Support users face to face, by telephone, and through remote support tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of end‑user hardware and software.
• Accurately record and manage IT assets, incidents, service requests, and work orders.
• Service Now experience is a plus.
• Prioritize incoming requests and existing work based on urgency and business requirements.
• Maintain accurate service records, time entries, and technical notes.
• Follow workplace health and safety requirements to protect yourself, colleagues, and customers.
• Complete assigned tasks within agreed service timeframes.
