Job summary

Davichi Computer Services is seeking a motivated Field Services Engineer to join our Brisbane Southside team. You’ll travel to partner sites across Southeast Queensland in a company van, delivering hands-on IT support and onsite services.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, install and configure IT infrastructure, and support Microsoft 365 environments while collaborating with Helpdesk and Projects teams. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in IT support, field services or infrastructure roles (MSP preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows desktops/servers and business IT environments.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Entra ID.
• Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, wireless.
• Hands-on hardware networking equipment installation and config.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, AD, GPO and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onsite IT support across partner environments with a hands-on approach.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
• Install and maintain desktops, laptops, servers and networking gear.
• Assist with network installations (switches, routers, firewalls, Wi‑Fi, VPNs).
• Support Microsoft 365 environments and related services.
• Manage onsite projects, deployments and infrastructure upgrades.
• Collaborate with Helpdesk and Projects teams to resolve complex issues.
• Record accurate ticket notes and asset records in service systems.
• Maintain the company vehicle and travel to partner sites in SE Queensland.
